An Aerospace and Electronics company in Burbank, CA is looking for a Machine Operator to add to their team.
This company specializes in supplying critical systems and components to the Aerospace, Defense and Space industries. You'll find their products in some of the toughest environments: from engines to landing gear; from satellites to medical implants and from missiles to unmanned aerial systems.
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with a rapidly growing company that makes high quality products for the Aerospace and Electronics industry!
Machine Operator Responsibilities:
- Set up and perform machinery that will grind, sand, and polish on various machined parts.
- Adjust machine when needed and after quality checking parts.
- Read and interpret work orders and diagrams to determine product dimensions and diameters.
- Clean parts of debris before handing them off.
- Work closely with other machining departments.
You will be successful in this role if you have strong mechanical skills and are detail oriented.
Schedule: M-F, 2:45 pm – 11:15 pm.
Machine Operator Qualifications:
- 6+ months of manual machine operation or general mechanical experience.
- Experience within the aerospace and/or manufacturing industry is highly desired.
- Ability to read and interpret diagrams and work orders.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Compensation: $18-28/hour, depending on experience.
