Responsibilities
Job Summary:
Performs a wide range of minor preventative maintenance tasks on the building, equipment and grounds to retain assigned facility in an acceptable state. Supports the Maintenance Engineer or Mechanic by performing semi-skilled work to include: 1) minor painting and plumbing tasks, 2) maintenance of kitchen equipment and assembly of items such as furniture, etc., 2) assistance with classroom set ups, 3) assuring that the grounds and outside areas surrounding the buildings are maintained in excellent condition.
Essential Duties:
- Performs a variety of building maintenance tasks to include assisting on painting, plumbing and electrical projects and general cleaning as directed.
- Performs minor preventive maintenance tasks on a variety of hospital and kitchen related equipment under the guidance of a Maintenance Engineer.
- Sets up classrooms for meetings in requested arrangement.
- Orders and receives parts and materials to make necessary repairs on related equipment.

Qualifications
Education/Work Experience Requirements
One year of recent building maintenance work experience that demonstrates attainment of the requisite job knowledge skills/abilities.
Pay Range
$18.74 - $26.83 /hour
