Job description

As Maintenance Officer, it is your job to provide a high quality, effective and efficient maintenance repair service to Swan’s customers.
Main Responsibilities -

Liaise closely with Housing Management staff and have a dual responsibility with estate inspections and services
*
Assist the Scheme Manager with the prioritisation, programming and monitoring of all maintenance repair works
*
Monitor response times regularly for completing repairs in order to measure contractor performance
*
Respond to emergency calls with minimum delay and to comply with the published response times
*
Carry out pre and post inspections of works from third party contractors for specialist repairs ensuring customer satisfaction
*
Escalate any concerns regarding quality of works
*
Inspect and maintain building systems both communal and within blocks

What we need from you -*

Previous experience within a housing maintenance environment
*
Knowledge of relevant Health and Safety legislation
*
Excellent organisational skills with ability to prioritise work
*
IT literacy
*
A good understanding of customer care and quality issues
*
A recognised maintenance qualification
