Deerfield Management Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician for their large, multifamily property. Hickory Hills Apartments has been a premier property in the North Hills of Pittsburgh for 40 years. You will join a team of industry experts committed to providing our residents with the highest level of service.

The candidate will be a part of a four-person team responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and operations of the property. The position is Monday - Friday with a rotating on-call schedule for evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities:

· Tenant Work Orders - assigned work orders to do minor repairs and maintenance in the units. Work orders must be resolved in a timely manner. Document work performed and tasks completed.

· Routine Maintenance - assigned certain buildings to maintain. Weekly inspections of the buildings, performing routine maintenance, and reporting problems to the supervisor.

· Turnovers - assist in getting available units ready to be rented.

· Community - assist in maintaining the safety and appearance of the common areas.

Qualifications & Skills:

· Self-motivated

· Works independently and part of a team

· Excellent communication skills

· Positive attitude

· Professional and courteous conduct

· Carpentry, plumbing, electrical knowledge

· Basic understanding of building maintenance

· High school diploma or equivalent required

· Must have a valid driver’s license

· Technical training in one or more trades preferred

· Multi-family maintenance experience a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

• Maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:
