Job description
Peabody Properties seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician to join its Property Management team a at Permanent Supportive Housing Development for Homeless and at-Risk Veterans in Basking Ridge, NJ.
The Maintenance Technician role is to assist the site Management Team with the efficient operation of the property. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Maintaining a high level of cleanliness in the building’s common areas and other assigned areas;
- Janitorial/Cleaning and grounds care.
- Performs work orders, including snow/ice removal.
- Maintains exterior grounds according to company standards.
- Basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical
Education and Experience
- Requires High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 3 years of maintenance and cleaning experience
- Access to reliable vehicle required to fulfill essential duties of the job.
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal.
- Ability to take initiative and be self-motivated.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Highly responsible and reliable
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
