Maintenance Worker
Job description
The Parks and Recreation Department has openings for a full time Maintenance Worker positions.
Currently seeking qualified applicants to perform routine maintenance for the Parks, Golf Course and Sport Complex Divisions. Duties will include building and athletic field maintenance, mowing, trimming and general grounds maintenance. The positions will include some part-time staff supervision. Applicants should have knowledge on the use of mowing and maintenance equipment and the ability to operate a pick-up truck. Applicants must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays for maintenance of park shelters, restrooms and trash collection as well as weekend tournaments and events. Applicants must have the ability to perform under a variety of environmental conditions, lift a minimum of 75 lbs., reach above, stoop, bend, and climb a ladder a minimum of 15 feet. Preference may be given to a high school graduate or equivalent. Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license.
