Job Summary:

The Manager of Talent Acquisition & Innovation Shared Services, is a leader within the Talent Acquisition & Innovation Center of Excellence (CoE) for the RWJBarnabas Health system responsible for the review, development, and implementation of all recruitment strategies for the Shared Services division of RWJBarnabas Health to include but not limited to: Corporate Services, Livingston Services, Major Investigations, Mobile Health, and Corporate Care positions within the enterprise. This role will develop talent acquisition strategies and lead in both clinical and non-clinical recruitment teams responsible for identifying, sourcing, hiring, and retaining clinical and non-clinical professionals. Reporting to the Director of Talent Acquisition & Innovation of Shared Services, the Manager, Talent Acquisition & Innovation Shared Services, will contribute to business needs by overseeing the recruitment processes and driving the execution of the recruitment teams through effective reporting and execution transparency.

Essential Functions:

  • Execute and manage clinical and non-clinical recruitment strategies, including building a strong candidate pipeline of qualified, diverse talent.
  • Directly manage a diverse talent acquisition team to focused on clinical and non-clinical recruitment in a high-paced environment.
  • Prioritize recruitment for clinical and non-clinical areas based on organizational needs.
  • Develop and lead daily, weekly, and monthly huddles with recruitment team
  • Supervises, evaluates, develops, and coaches staff, ensuring individual and team performance meets desired outcomes.
  • Partner with workforce development team to train managers on best practices for interviewing and partnering with recruiters to enhance the candidate experience.
  • Train all new team members, as well as provide mentorship, direction, and guidance to aid in talent acquisition efforts.
  • Partner with other managers and directors to assess talent acquisition performance, align on potential outcomes, and forecasts future recruitment needs.
  • Manage the full cycle recruiting process for clinical and non-clinical positions, including but not limited to, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and successful placement of signed candidates.
  • Build and maintain relationships with managers, Talent Acquisition & Innovation leadership, and key stakeholders to help the talent acquisition team understand business priorities and remain up to date on current industry trends.
  • Report key insights and talent trends to corporate, mobile health, and corporate care leadership.
  • Identify and propose social media recruitment strategies.
  • Support RFP initiatives related to recruitment applications and technology.

Required Skills, Attributes and Experiences:

  • Bachelor s Degree or equivalent in business, human resources management, or relevant field of study. Master s Degree preferred.
  • Appropriate experience as a talent acquisition manager or similar role.
  • Prior recruitment experience in healthcare setting strongly preferred.
  • Leadership experience, including direct or indirect management/delegation
  • Proven experience with leading and motivating high performing, data driven teams.
  • Experience in full cycle recruitment, pipeline and brand strategies. Experience in large, complex, fast-paced environments managing recruitment strategies and process improvement efforts. Ability to lead with respect and compassion.
  • Planning, communication, and organizational skills are required.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems, CRM, HRIS, and/or customer tracking databases to manage data and candidate relationships.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
