Description and Requirements
Managing Director, North America Digital Workplace Solutions
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Managing Director to lead our North America Digital Workplace Solutions team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting the strategic direction and sales vision for Digital Workplace Solutions, Device as a Service, and Top Strategic Accounts, driving accelerated growth across our solutions, services, and software portfolio for all North American clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the P&L owner, responsible for financial performance, including bookings and revenue, gross profit, and investment to develop the business and achieve aspirational targets across client services and software.
- Lead, influence, and shape opinions, establishing credibility throughout the organization while inspiring and motivating employees and colleagues to out-perform against targets.
- Build a high-performance team, attracting, developing, and retaining top talent to achieve strategic growth.
- Understand and meet customer needs while balancing business objectives, fostering strong customer relationships, and exceeding customer expectations with a focus on customer outcomes.
- Develop a clear and deep understanding of market conditions, including customer requirements and competitor solutions, and build go-to-market strategies to differentiate our offerings and address unmet needs.
- Actively seek out and develop long-term and strategic software and service partner relationships as needed to enhance Lenovo service offerings.
Basic Requirements:
- IT technology and/or Services experience at a company well known for being an industry leader in Services and customer satisfaction.
- NA or Global Sales Leadership Experience, managing leaders and individual contributors.
- Bachelor's degree
Preferred:
- 10+ years of IT technology and/or Services experience at a company well known for being an industry leader in Services and customer satisfaction.
- 5+ years NA or Global Sales Leadership Experience, managing leaders and individual contributors.
- Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree a plus.
- Strong executive presence and leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Strong business and financial acumen.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with all levels of matrixed organizations.
- Experience working with global teams and conducting business internationally.
- Proven track record of business development, commercializing innovative and breakthrough ideas to create superior value in the market.
- Effective people manager who coaches, mentors and develops employees providing career development opportunities. Empowers employees to take responsibility through appropriate delegation, accountability, and regular feedback.
- Inclusive leadership style with a focus on personal involvement, trust, and flexibility.
- Demonstrated ability to create relationships at any level of the organization, influence others, at peer and senior executive levels, to drive change.
- High level of communication and presentation skills with excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, and international working experience for global company(s).
- Demonstrated success in working with customers to resolve complex issues and develop solid business relationships.
- Willingness to travel more than 50% of the time, engaging the market, Customers, Partners, and global teams.
- Consistently demonstrates the highest levels of integrity.
