HELP WANTED

Full-time business manager for a 250 slip/dry stack marina located on Lake Martin, Alabama.

Requirements:

• Five (5) years management experience including direction of employees, accounting, budgeting, inventory control, advertising, and customer relations.
• Supervise all marina operations to ensure prompt, courteous, and safe service to all customers.
• Live within a 1 hour drive of the marina
• Must work on week-ends (April-October).
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Proficient in Quickbooks or Sage accounting software.
• Self-starter – work remotely from home in off-season (November-March),
• Must be able to start by May 15, 2023. Training provided.
• Must be available for 24-hour telephone contact for emergency response.

Duties:

• Prepare payroll and monthly financial statements. Approve and process payment for all purchases, invoices and check requests. Make bank deposits.
• Respond to company email, text, Messages, and phone calls either directly or via trained employees.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise all employees either directly or via departmental supervisors.
• Complete applications/correspondence to ensure compliance with all regulatory agencies.
• Update websites and all company information online and in print (brochures)
• Responsible for social media postings and marketing (mostly online)
• Respond to and resolve customer disputes consistent with owners Core Values.
• Assist staff with boat rentals on week-ends and/or busy days.
• Pick up or place online orders for misc. store inventory, supplies
• Prepare staff work schedules.
• Prepare mailings for slip rental (November) and assign slips (April)
• Analyze processes and procedures to ensure efficient, smooth operations.
• Handle all aspects of marina operations within budgetary guidelines in an efficient, cost effective and creative manner.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
