Global Maritek Systems, Inc. is a maritime company providing High Performance Law Enforcement Vessel Maintenance and Marine Services in support of US Customs and Border Protection marine fleet. Headquartered in St. Augustine, Florida, with 27 sites around the U.S. in Washington State, California, Michigan, Ohio, New York, South Carolina, Florida, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, and Puerto Rico. Purpose of the position:
Troubleshoot and repair/service vessel engines, vessels and Vessel trailers as directed and assigned under the contract.

Position Responsibilities:
Typical duties include but are not limited to the following. Specific duties vary by assignment.

• Troubleshoot and repair vessels, vessel engines, and vessel trailers.
• Knowledge of AC/DC marine electrical systems.
• Own and maintain a tool set reasonable to perform the job function.
• Maintain required qualifying certifications for the job title.
• Other duties as assigned. This is not a list of every task expected.

Position Requirements:

• Be able to operate a forklift (if required) and other motor vehicle.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust, High Risk Security Clearance.

We are seeking a Marine Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position has experience as a marine mechanic and is capable of troubleshooting and repairing mechanical issues on vessels. We're interested in hiring an individual who has the flexibility to handle both routine and non-routine maintenance/repairs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
