Marketing/Administrative Assistant
Job DescriptionLooking for a motivated personality to work in a home office environment (with travel to alternate locations on occasion) marketing and assisting a whole-hearted dental organization. Marketing experience is welcome, but not required, as skills can be learned and developed in process. Looking for someone who has a love for people and an upbeat customer service mentality. Someone with high follow-through and an organized style is essential. Tasks can range from content writing, FB/Instagram monitoring, generating monthly reports, call monitoring, collaborating with owner/operator of business and team members.
Job Details:
- General assisting work
- Handling office tasks, such as filing, organizing, generating reports, ordering supplies, setting up for meetings, etc.
- Monitoring practice phone calls
- Writing out patient note cards/thank yous
- Maintaining inventory of patient promotional items at both practice locations, ability to travel between offices when necessary
- Assist in community outreach events
- Assist in monitoring website performance/recommendation of updates
- Anticipate the needs of others in order to ensure their seamless and positive experience and movement of work/completion of tasked items.
- Making/scheduling travel plans for seminars, as needed
- Content Writing
- Assist with scheduling social media posts and monitoring activity
- Experience using Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Apple computers/Mac Operating System
- Good organizational skills
- Detail-oriented
- Willingness to be a flexible team player within a home office environment
- Positive and kind-hearted professional
- Self-starter with high follow-through. Able to take initiative and work independently, if warranted. Comfortable in communicating needs to complete a task
- Marketing experience is a plus, but not required. Open to learning.
- Open to bringing creative or new marketing concepts to the table
- Must be available to work either at Syosset location or Riverhead location, as well as travel between our West Babylon and Patchogue locations from time to time
- Must be available to work full time, Monday through Friday
