We’re looking for a detail oriented, driven, and enthusiastic full-time marketing communications specialist to join our team.

The main objective of this role will be to create effective and trackable PR and marketing campaigns to increase the company’s brand awareness and influence in the local Bay Area to ultimately generate, nurture, and convert qualified leads.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute strategic and effective local PR campaigns to increase local brand awareness
  • Coordinate with community sponsors to ensure mutually beneficial relationships, including cross-promotion on social media, cooperative community events, and cross-referral of clients
  • Develop an effect event booth strategy to increase awareness and generate high quality leads
  • Source and Develop local brand ambassadors to increase social proof for our brand
  • Create and implement engaging and well attended local workshops and community events
  • Source and collaborate with videographers and editors to grow our YouTube channel and to create engaging media for our website and social media
  • Write and design engaging social media content across multiple platforms to engage our current audience and attract new followers
  • Consistently measure and track all marketing KPIs to ensure budget is adhered to and goals are being met
  • Monitor site traffic and conversions through Google Analytics, Search Console, SEM Rush, and related tools to ensure traffic and keyword benchmarks are being met
  • Update website copy to reflect new or changing services and improve SEO
  • Write and proofread blogs, social media copy, weekly broadcasts, and other client-facing media to ensure brand guidelines are met
  • Actively manage Google Ads to improve the effectiveness of ad spend
  • Create effective social media digital ad strategies to diversify lead sources
  • Diligently A/B test landing pages, ad headlines, and ad copy to improve ROI on all promotional campaigns
  • Strategize and design client-facing promotions in cooperation with sales department and CEO; detail all necessary information (timeline, deliverables, and departmental responsibilities) in a promotional brief to be distributed across all internal departments
  • Write, edit, and schedule email copy for all promotional campaigns
  • Design, build, and maintain CRM campaigns and funnels

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Extreme attention to detail and being highly organized
  • Excellent project and time management skills
  • Ability to independently work and meet deadlines, as well as delegate work and support others in their role as needed
  • Ability to see the big picture marketing strategy while maintaining a grasp on the day-to-day details
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Adept at drawing conclusions from data to optimize marketing efficiency
  • Ability to balance and prioritize multiple interdepartmental projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks as needed
  • PR experience preferred
  • Expo booth experience preferred


Must be based in the Bay Area, CA to work full-time in our office in San Jose; must be a US citizen.

Your Compensation:

  • Salary $50,000 - $72,000
  • Medical premium stipend per month
  • 2-weeks paid vacation, plus the week off between Christmas and New Year’s.
