Job Description Summary
Responsible for Master Data functions at the Little Chute Facility, including interacting with all Bel Brands locations and Bel Corporate Master Data Groups as pertains to Master Data for the United States. This position is also responsible for various support activities for the local Finance team, including daily accounting functions, with a focus on fixed asset management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Master Data
- Creates and maintains master data for all finished goods, semi-finished goods, raw materials, packaging materials, consumable and trading goods.
- Coordinates, gathers data and submits requests to Corporate Master Data Group for new item creation (Basic data and Classification data). Requires regular meetings and close working relationships with the Marketing Departments of the various brands.
- Coordinates, tracks and shares information regarding the progress of the product setup with the appropriate people through the Marketing UDS form.
- Works with Production Departments to create and maintain accurate Operational BOMs, Routes and Production Versions used for production order creation.
- Works with Production Manager and FICO to create and maintain accurate Budget BOMs, Routes and Production Versions.
- Works with Warehouse Management to create and maintain plant storage location information and packing instructions.
- Ensures integration of new items into the Forecasting and Production Scheduling System.
- Maintains local product hierarchy for finished goods and purchased trade goods used for customer pricing and Broker deal management.
- Analyzes reports to identify non-compliant data and problem solves findings.
Finance
- Maintains fixed asset details in collaboration with maintenance team, Plant management, Group management, Chicago management. Initiates schedules for depreciation when completed. Keeps track of asset inventory and tagging of new assets.
- Keeps track of fixed assets cash flows.
- Creates proper documentation for sale or disposal of assets, including group transfer forms.
- Provides all details of fixed assets activities to the auditors.
- Prepares budget estimates for new fixed assets and fixed assets to be completed.
- Maintains/updates inventory of fixed assets.
- Supports finance function when Controller and/or Assistant Controller are out of office.
- Participates in month-end closing tasks.
- Runs reports from SAP to analyze data, update financial KPI’s and reviews variances.
- All other duties as assigned.

- Follows all Good Manufacturing Practices as stated within the policy.
- Follow all food safety procedures.
- Maintains a sanitary and safe work area; performs housekeeping duties as necessary and/or required.
- Detects potentially hazardous conditions and problems and takes appropriate action to report and/or correct.
Knowledge and Experience Requirements
- Associate’s degree, or relevant experience, bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of two years experience in a related position.
- Strong project management, analytical, technical, and organizational skills.
- The individual must have a conceptual or working knowledge of the following:
- High level of expertise in MS Office products
- Microsoft PC operating systems
- Enterprise Software Systems, specifically SAP
- Project management methods and terminology

Working Conditions: Work is performed largely in an office environment. Hours of work will generally be during regular business hours with at least 40 hours a week. At times there will be some variation in work hours due to special projects, deadlines and other concerns.
