Job description

Material Handler

• Sorts, labels and places materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined locations.
• Updates computerized inventory system for quantity and location changes.
• Pulls and distributes materials, tools, or other stock items in order to fill assembly requests.
• Maintains accurate inventory records through the use of a computerized inventory system.
• Utilizes material handling equipment such as forklifts (gas and electric), pallet jack, etc.
• Verifies and maintains accurate inventory count, perform ‘cycle’ count. Monitors inventory discrepancies.
• Keeps forklift operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; performing preventive maintenance; keep maintenance/repair log.

Requirements:

• Strong computer skills.
• Gas and electric forklift experience.
• Dedication to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to multi-task in a high-paced environment.

Compensation commensurate with experience. Competitive wage and benefit package.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.50 - $20.00 per hour

Experience:

• Warehouse experience: 1 year (Preferred)
