Medical Assistant Team Leader

What you will do:
This position is responsible for supporting the physicians by coordinating healthcare services and promoting healthy behavior through patient education. You will be responsible for supervising a team of Medical Assistants.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Clinical supervision duties
• Staff supervision duties
• Administrative duties
• Staff scheduling and training
• Clinical duties for Adult Medicine, ObGyn, Pediatrics and other departments as needed.

What you will need:

• High School Diploma or GED REQUIRED
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant Program REQUIRED
• Previous experience as a Medical Assistant is PREFERRED
• Bilingual in Spanish PREFERRED
• Leadership qualities such as coaching and development
• Ability to work effectively with all levels of care team and other colleagues
• A positive attitude
• Remain in accordance with HIPPA
• Ability to use good reasoning and judgment
