Job Title: Medical Billing Specialist
Pay Rate: $18 –22/hr.
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30 am-5pm
Location: Memphis, TN
Contract to Hire
Job Summary:
Responsible for the collection of insurance accounts and administering all phases of patient payments.
Knowledge of medical, insurance, and third-party terminology.
Working knowledge of billing and reimbursement procedures.
Typing, 10-key, computer skills.
Possess good oral and written communications skills.
Answering phones and assisting patients with payments
Working denied claims for out-of-network providers
Documenting the entire process
They have a BCBS and TriCare team, as well as other specialized teams
Knowledge of changing rules for claims
A lot of problem-solving and research in this role
Skills / Requirements:
3-4 years medical collections are ideal, willing to train
Collections Exp.
Customer Service Skils
Critical Thinker
Job Type: Contract
Salary: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
