Exciting opportunity to join the fast-paced healthcare environment at Legacy House of South Jordan as a full-time Medication Aide-Med Tech! Our assisted living community is seeking highly motivated individuals to work onsite with our senior residents in the mornings.

YOUR DAY AS A MEDICATION AIDE - MED TECH

As a new Medication Aide - Med Tech, you can expect to work mornings, starting at either 5:30 am - 1:30 pm OR 6:00 am - 2:00 pm. Enjoy your afternoons and evenings!

You play a super important role in providing healthcare for our awesome assisted living residents. You come in each morning and work closely with a licensed nurse to make sure our residents get the treatments and medications they need. Your positive and caring attitude shines through in everything you do! You're always ready to help out with whatever our seniors need, whether it's with personal tasks or just being there for them. And you keep really good records of all the services you provide and any changes you notice in their condition.

Not only are you a medication administration pro, but you're also in charge of taking care of their skin and helping out with minor skin issues. You're even able to change dressings for non-infected chronic or postoperative conditions. Your hard work and dedication mean the world to us, and we're so grateful for all that you do to make our seniors' lives better!

WHAT IS REQUIRED TO BE A MEDICATION AIDE - MED TECH?

• A current caregiver certification
• Ability to complete our designated training program as prescribed by the Wellness Director or the designated LPN or supervisor
• Ability to effectively communicate with residents, families, supervisors, and employees
• Physical ability to assist in transferring residents and lifting people
• Ability to push, pull, bend, stoop, twist, reach, and stand/walk for long periods of time
• A heart for serving seniors
