Reporting to the IT Manager, the Meditech Informatics Specialist will lead an experienced team of IT professionals while supporting Providers, Nurses, and hospital staff with the use of the EHR system. The Meditech Informatics Specialist will need a strong knowledge of the Meditech EHR including experience in implementation, end-user support, troubleshooting, teaching, and training users.
The Meditech Informatics Specialist will be responsible for supporting all inpatient hospital departments including ancillary services regarding the Meditech EHR platform implementation. In addition, specific responsibilities include coordinating implementation workflows, collaborating across departments to improve the EMR system, developing templates, facilitating data exchange, assisting Providers with CPOE adoption, and assisting EMR trainers with clinical application training.
