Member Services

Position Summary:

Work with the director of each department to oversee all member services at the club. Be the point of contact for members and guests – providing helpful and knowledgeable service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Complete guests’ check-into cottages.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to determine room status.
  • Arrange for guests’ luggage storage and transportation to cottages.
  • Make sure all cottage information packets are up to date.
  • Take in-bound calls.
  • Assist with the F&B team with hosting daily reservations and events.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Make dining reservations for members.
  • Update the website and app continuously (i.e.) hours of operation, staff contacts, member directory, etc.)
  • F&B take-out orders taken via website, and telephone calls.
  • Orders will be delivered to the culinary team and the F&B MOD (Manager on Duty).
  • Assist both the F&B and Events Directors with flyers and marketing materials.
  • Attend weekly BEO meetings.
  • Create buffet and menu cards.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Required Competencies/Skills:

  • Able to work independently and uphold a strict level of confidentiality and professional discretion.
  • Excellent communication, good customer service and people skills required.
  • Greet members, guests, and callers. Manage all inquiries and direct to the appropriate departments.
  • Experience working with membership and guests in a fast-paced setting.
  • Proficient with English grammar.
  • Proficient in operating office equipment – copiers, scanners, and multi-line phone system.
  • Proficient with computer software including Microsoft Office 365.
  • Knowledge of and ability to perform required role during emergency situations.

Required Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or GED Required.

Club, resort, or other hospitality industry experience is a plus.

  • Frequent repetitive motions and use of hands to type and write.

  • Occasional bending, kneeling, and pulling.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
  • Moderate noise level in the work environment.

Salary: $16.93 - $20.39 per hour
