ATI SRP is currently seeking an NDT Engineer – Level III. The position will be located at our Monaca, PA facility. The position will report to Mgr., Technology – Washington Facility.
The job responsibilities for this role will include:
- Ownership of the nuclear 2132 program from initiation to completion.
- Training, certification and performance reviews of NDT personnel, as required
- Support to other departments, primarily Certification and Product Engineering groups.
- Test results approval
- NDT specification review.
- NDT procedure development and implementation.
- Direct customer support – main point of contact for nuclear 2132 program.
- Perform external and internal audits
- Development of new technologies
- Interaction with industry groups
Job responsibilities will require traveling, as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering field or equivalent NDT Level III experience
- NDT Level III Ultrasonic Certification is required
- 3 years experience in Non-destructive testing
- Advanced to Expert Microsoft Office skills
- Communicates progress & results effectively both verbally & through written technical reports & presentations. Communication extends across business disciplines. Ongoing contact with others outside their immediate work group, including quality, technology, & operations
- Demonstrates ability to identify and implement continuous improvement in all areas of the business
- Strong problem solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
- Ability to apply analytical thinking to address complex problems based on product & process data
- Certified AS9100 Lead Auditor
