BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: Duties involve the responsibility for the installation, support and maintenance of various management information systems. The incumbent is responsible for providing a variety of staff support services, including equipment installation and configuration, installation and maintenance of computer software/operating systems and local area networks. Does related work as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Resource Management, Microcomputer Technology or closely related field; OR

Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered two (2) year college or university with an Associate’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Resource Management, Microcomputer Technology or closely related field, and two (2) years of experience in the operation and maintenance of microcomputer equipment, which shall have involved local area network administration and the installation, maintenance and use of operating systems, word processing, database management, spread sheet utility software.

Pay: From $25.43 per hour
