Hegira Health, Inc. (HHI), a private non-profit corporation, is one of the largest freestanding behavioral healthcare agencies in the area. HHI, accredited by the Joint Commission and licensed by the State of Michigan, provides a broad array of mental health and substance abuse treatment and prevention services to individuals of all ages.

Oakdale Recovery Center (ORC) - provides withdrawal management and short-term residential treatment services to adults with substance use disorders, many whom have mental health disorders as well. Average LOS is 3 days for WD and 14 days for residential treatment. Hegira Health, Inc.

• One Full-Time midnight position 5 days each week/every other weekend

Education/ Experience:

• RN or LPN licensed to practice in the State of Michigan.
• A minimum of 1 year in the delivery of direct nursing care to adults with behavioral health disorders, direct experience in a psychiatric setting preferred.
• Knowledge of mental health and substance use disorders and related pharmacological treatment.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Triage
• Admission health history
• Coordination of services: prescriber orders, pharmacy, psychiatry
• Medication administration
• Continuous monitoring of 6 bed nursing unit (COPE); Monitoring from nursing desk at ORC (45 bed unit)
• Assistance with restraints, when needed
• Coordination of care with multi-disciplinary team
• Direction to Health Care staff to assist in unit movement, milieu, monitoring
• Patient engagement

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $34.00 per hour
