Primary purpose of this leadership position is to direct the day-to-day functions of the facility in accordance with current Federal, State, and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern long-term care facilities to assure that the highest degree of quality care can be provided to the residents at all times. They offer a great compensation/benefit package and a salary of $110K per year plus a retention bonus.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the facility and keep the organization on track for its long-term goals and mission.
  • Complete rounds of the care center to ensure compliance with all policies, procedures and regulations.
  • Coordinate and provide leadership to each clinical, managerial and custodial team and ensure that they work together effectively.
  • Ensure the facility operates in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Initiates and formulates any new policies facility wide.
  • Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure resident’s individual care plans are being followed.
  • Be the face of the organization to the governing board, the public, and resident’s families.
  • Act as a liaison between staff, residents and families.
  • Respond to all emergency situations as needed including drills.
  • Follow vulnerable adult policies and promote resident’s rights.
  • In coordination with the VP of Environmental Services, support maintenance oversight of physical facility to provide safe and efficient operating conditions.
Required:
  • BA/BS Degree.
  • WI Nursing Home Administrators License.
  • Must have a minimum of four years’ experience as a nursing home administrator.
  • Successful completion of pre- employment background check and drug/health screen.
Must have strong leadership skills and the ability to:
  • Respond to critical issues or concerns on a 24/7 basis.
  • Perform well under pressure and be a thoughtful leader.
  • Have strong communication skills to effectively and timely communicate with staff, residents, visitors, and governing board.
  • Maintain effective relationships both individually and as part of the team.
  • Prioritize and organize work effectively and efficiently.
  • Take initiative, problem solve and make informed decisions.
