Job Title: OB/L&D Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery, Post-Partum - Viroqua, Wisconsin
Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced OB/L&D Registered Nurse for our critical access hospital in Viroqua, WI. As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and specialized care to women and infants during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the safety and well-being of both mother and baby.
Responsibilities:
Monitor fetal heart rates and vital signs of both mother and baby
Assist with labor and delivery, including administering medication and performing necessary procedures
Provide postpartum care, including monitoring vital signs, checking incisions, and assisting with breastfeeding
Educate patients and families about postpartum care and newborn care
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure patient confidentiality
Qualifications:
Active Wisconsin RN license
Minimum 2 years of experience in labor and delivery and postpartum care
BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
