Occupational Therapist - Acute Care - Per Diem

*Current Opening is for a Per Diem Position*

Essential Functions:

• Coordinates patient care with the appropriate services.
• Performs a complete assessment.
• Documents correctly in the medical record and field chart. Identifies and acts appropriately in code situations.
• Teaches patients in identified areas of need and evaluates response.
• Operates treatment devices appropriately.
• Applies professional skills to patient care; communicates and follows through on the treatment plan.

Education:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy.
• Skagit Valley Hospital is a DNV certified Primary Stroke Center. Required to complete 4 hours of stroke education annually.

License/Certification:

• Must be currently licensed or eligible for licensure, prior to hire date, in the state of Washington.
• Must obtain active and unrestricted Occupational Therapy license within 6 months of hire.

Experience:

• Previous experience working in an outpatient hand clinic or acute care is recommended.

Skagit Regional Health offers a comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental, vision, 457b/401a (retirement), long term disability, sick time, and paid time off to all employees working 20 or more hours per week.

Pay: $39.86 - $59.79 per hour

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
