Responsibilities:
- This position plays a critical part of the overall operation and management of the business.
- The office manager is responsible for providing high quality work in a fast-paced environment.
- Responsible for supervising booking staff (accounts receivable and accounting admin) which requires monitoring accounting procedures, ensuring consistent application of the procedures and proper handling/accuracy of cash.
- Assist with branch accounts receivable clerk with collections on customer accounts.
- Resolve any issue or complaints received via customer accounts.
- Reviews time and attendance discrepancies on a daily basis, collect missing punches, edits punches and time off requests –submits payroll hours to the payroll department on a semi-monthly basis (twice a month).
- Manage commission agreements and calculations to be submitted to the corporate office for processing.
- Oversee new employee onboarding process in concert with HR, including the coordination of pre-employment screening, orientation, and systems setup.
- Is the lead person on all employee related issues.
- Must have a clean driving record and a valid California driver’s license.
- Other duties: provides clerical support when needed such as answering phones, sorting and distributing mail, preparing documents, ordering of office supplies and oversees petty cash fund.
Qualifications:
- 2 - 3 years of experience as an Office Manager, Front Office Manager, or Senior Administrative Assistant
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with PC hardware, Windows, and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment.
