Job Description

· Greet people as they arrive at the office and provide orientation.

· Answer phones, filing, copies

· Manage facility related appointments (ie. schedule Verizon, plumbers, copier maintenance, utility companies, IT repairs, etc….)

· Order and track supplies

· Schedule client appointments

· Post notices and signs

· Keep resource table updated and neat

· Light office cleaning

· Conduct Intakes and assessments

· Assist participants in the computer lab

· Organize and serve lunch

· Help coordinate events/donations/etc…

· Provide case management services which may include referrals for outpatient medical, behavioral health, substance abuse services and all other agencies when necessary

· Utilize the agencies case management tracking system through Sales Force to document sessions with participants

· Work closely with Site Director on monthly contract reports and internal reports

· Advocate on behalf of participants

· Work closely and collaboratively with the staff to ensure coordinated delivery of services

· Facilitate groups as assigned

· Participate in staff meetings

· Participate in agency training's, continuing education & seminars as approved to further professional development

· Attend daily Staff Briefing

· Other duties as needed

QUALIFICATION:

This position requires an Associate’s degree. Experience with people who are justice involved a must. Candidate must be able to work both independently and in a team setting. This candidate must have integrity: be responsible, trustworthy, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. The position requires a people-person, i.e., someone who works well with people and also has good boundaries. The applicant must be able to read and write English and have good writing skills, must be computer literate.

Travel Requirements: Will require travel for onboarding and training in New York City, occasional work in the community of Newburgh & monthly staff meetings in Poughkeepsie

Other Requirements: Candidates must be able to safely: climb two flights of stairs, lift up to 15 pounds at times, work for prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
