We are seeking a full-time FedEx Ground Business Contact (BC)/Operations Manager (OM) to lead our team in Manchester, NH. As the BC/OM, you will lead this operation autonomously and report directly to the Authorized Officer (AO)/owner.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated, reliable leader to join a growing FedEx contractor in the dynamic New England region.

Minimum Education

● High School Diploma

● College degree preferred

Minimum Experience Requirements

● Delivery Driver: 1 year

● 1+ years of management experience

Qualifications

● Previous experience with FedEx, Amazon, or UPS is desirable

● Hands-on experience in parcel pick-up and delivery operations

● Experienced BC with a FedEx Ground ISP and/or FedEx Ground Manager ground is ideal

● Experienced in FedEx DRO Application is ideal

● Experience Driving FedEx Ground Routes is ideal

● FedEx Certified Driver Trainer is ideal

● Eligible to work in the US.

● Must be 21 years or older

● Must have a clean driving record

● Must pass a criminal background check, drug screening, and DOT physical exam or have a current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate

● Must have a current valid driver's license (Class C) - A CDL is not required

● Must have commercial driving experience

● Must be able to lift at least 50lb packages unassisted

Responsibilities

● Manage morning dispatch of drivers/fleet

● Manage employee work schedules and supervision

● Train new drivers and coordinate ride alongs

● Manage DRO and route planning

● Distribute daily route assignments

● Roster DAs to maximize package count and ensure new DAs get training routes

● Facilitate ISP and Station communication during load out

● Track and report missing packages or delayed routes

● Communicate standard work and safety tips throughout the day to DAs

● On-road support, lockout, and towing coordination

● Rescue coordination & track rescues

● Manage end of the day check-in process

● Ensure DOT & safety compliance

● Track safety key indicators and driver coaching

● Support and develop company policies and procedures

● Manage and coordinate fleet maintenance and repairs with vendors and mechanics

● Manage driver events and training within GroundCloud

● Manage proper timesheet setup, usage, and collecting paperwork

● Manage administration and upkeep of First Advantage, eVerify, and driver management in FedEx MyGroundBiz

● Communicate and practice safety during each shift

● Troubleshoot equipment issues

● Address drivers who are not correctly coding packages
