Database

· Experience monitoring and acting on common alerts from Microsoft SQL Server around uptime, disk space, high CPU, blocking etc.,.

· Using Solarwinds DPA or similar tools to identify problematic queries, blocked processes and deadlocks.

· Communicate with tech teams about recurring issues with database workloads.

· Feed the continuous improvement of our alerting engineering by suggesting enhancements and identifying noisy alerts.

· Working in Windows Server to expand volumes when there are capacity issues.

· Granting permissions to databases when approved

· Executing runbooks diligently and reporting any issues back to engineering teams

Windows

· In depth knowledge of Windows operation systems: kernel, registry and network services

· Proficient with automation and development tools for Windows, especially PowerShell

· Solid understanding in core Windows technologies: AD, DNS, PKI, LDAP and DFS

· Strong expertise with corporate mobile device management platform, preferably Microsoft Intune

· Strong familiarity with identity and authentication protocols: Kerberos, SAML, OAuth and SSO

· Strong understanding of Microsoft cloud products such as AzureAD and Office 365

· Critical attention to detail and solid creative problem-solving skills

· Customer Service focused with the ability to display a high level of professionalism

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Strong documentation skills

· Strong information security mindset

· Willing to learn new technology

· Experience with Citrix Virtual Desktop and App (preferred)

Linux & Compute

· Perform runbooked provisioning/upgrades/decommission operations for various operating server and storage platforms.

· Perform runbooked upgrade operations for various infra level services.

· Perform runbooked linux administration tasks and basic troubleshooting

· Perform runbooked restores of backed up objects.

· Perform runbooked BCP operations

· Schedule datacenter activities for break fix events.

· Python or bash nice to have.

· Opportunity to contribute to a wide range of infra projects

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
