Denbury Inc. has a current opening for a Operations Excellence Analyst in our Hastings location in Alvin, Texas.
Job Summary
The OE Analyst is an EAM Analyst responsible for analyzing and managing data to optimize Denbury's Operations Excellence (OE) Department programs, specifically Asset Integrity Management (AIM). This role will drive EAM optimization and operational integrity across the enterprise by identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiencies through data management and system improvements. While working in a multi-discipline team environment, the OE Analyst will identify, plan and execute process changes and embed the new processes and procedures into the organization for long-term sustainability.
Job Responsibilities
Identify opportunities to drive improvement (i.e., data organization & structure, workflow, reporting, etc.) in SAP, in-house tools, and other operations systems.- Enter, verify, and maintain technical and non-technical data to support and improve OE programs.
- Analyze data to produce reports and presentations to support business objectives.
- Document existing and new operating procedures within SAP.
- Embed consistent processes across all Denbury Business Units.
- Lead testing of changes in SAP, Perillon, Surface Asset Master (SAM), and other software systems, as required for OE programs, needs
- Develop KPIs to measure and monitor long-term sustainability.
- Generate monthly and weekly reports as required for various business needs.
Skills and Relevant Experience
High competency with SAP PM & MM Modules and Microsoft Office (particularly Excel).- Interact with team members and peers regularly to maintain existing datasets and identify ways to improve.
- Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to collaborate with and work within a multi-discipline team environment.
- Willing to accept mentoring and take direction from multi-discipline professionals.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Must be familiar with a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures related to oil & gas assets & production operations (HSE, Env Compliance, MI Program, PM & CM work management).
- Ability to handle multiple projects against assigned deadlines, prioritize work, and focus efforts to deliver value.
- Ability to complete tasks for multiple concurrent projects.
Education
Bachelors Degree or equivalent
Environmental and Physical Requirements
Work will primarily be conducted in an office environment.- Travel may be required to district and field offices and/or oil and gas production facilities, with the occasional need to wear personal protective equipment.
- The position requires frequently communicating information and managing an office environment's possible stress.
- Work may include being stationary for long periods, with occasional movement about the office.
- The ability to lift up to 35 pounds is required.
- The position requires constant operation and viewing of a computer screen and other office machinery.
