Job description
The Operations Research Analyst will provide Product and Program support to the Tomahawk Program at NSWC Port Hueneme Division in the areas of Logistics Management, Configuration Management, and Documentation Support, and Program and Schedule Support. The successful candidate will become a part of a very dynamic, fast-paced team that requires flexibility in tasking to rapidly respond to fleet requirements. Specific duties and responsibilities include:
- Monthly updates to Logistics Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
- Develop monthly updates to the Tomahawk Installation plan.
- Provide Tomahawk Configuration Management Database (TCED) support.
- Provide support by reviewing various Tomahawk hardware Reliability Block Diagram (RBD), Failure Mode, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), and Readiness-Based Sparing (RBS) models, and providing comments and recommendations based on review.
- Support the Tomahawk Configuration Manager for configuration and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS)-related tasks.
Required Skills:
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated willingness to learn quickly and perform in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to respond quickly to evolving customer requirements and produce positive results.
- Ability to obtain a valid U.S. government secret clearance.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with the Tomahawk Tactical Weapons Control System (TTWCS)
- A combined 1-6 years of experience between configuration management, project management/coordination, scheduling, or logistics engineering for the Navy.
