Dispensing Optician: Full Time Position

Clinic hours are Monday through Friday.

Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years optical experience. Candidates must be licensed or willing to participate in the Washington State Optician Apprenticeship Program.

Eligible candidates must be able to fully assist patients in frame selection and stylings, contact lens care, and additional optical needs. Potential applicants must possess an ability to troubleshoot dispensing issues, accurately perform lensometry, and have a strong working knowledge of patient prescriptions and eye care. Applicants must have up to date knowledge on eye wear products and trends.

The ideal candidate will be a great team player, honest, hardworking, complete tasks on own, and a quick learner. Candidates must be self-motivated, problem solving orientated, and have a working knowledge of optometric patient care and a strong desire to learn more! Our clinic is a very fast paced medical/vision clinic with a diverse patient base; hence, flexibility is essential. The ability to multitask is required.

Employees must be willing to cross train in ancillary office positions and learn additional required clinical skills as well. Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply.

Compensation: $18.00-$25.00 per hour + Additional Benefits
