Job description
Offit Kurman, a growing full-service firm, is seeking to hire a litigation/insurance recovery paralegal for its Plymouth Meeting office. Ideal candidates will possess 2-4 or more years of experience working as a litigation paralegal. The paralegal will assist during all phases of the litigation process, from investigating claims, initiation of a case, discovery, through trial.
Ideally this paralegal would be located in the Plymouth Meeting office 2-3 days per week with the flexibility to be in the Philadelphia office on alternate days or as needed.
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and organize the intake of discovery-related requests and documents.
- Organize and maintain physical and electronic files and databases.
- Prepare and draft a variety of discovery-related documents.
- Maintain detailed and well-organized discovery docket.
- Interact with clients and outside counsel.
- Review and summarize documents and transcripts.
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience supporting litigation practice.
- Excellent organizational skills and prior experience maintaining detailed dockets and databases.
- Experience performing independent research and working with various research tools.
- Ability to expertly manage and prioritize a high volume of deadline driven work.
