Marshall County WIC Office:

PT CPA (Competent Professional Authority)

Seeking a candidate with the following qualifications:

Qualified Nutritionist, Dietician, or Registered Nurse or Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition or Nutrition Sciences, Public Health Nutrition, Community Nutrition or Clinical Nutrition.

May also consider (with review of transcripts from an accredited college) a Bachelor’s Degree in Family and Consumer Sciences, Food and Nutrition in Business or Nutrition, Fitness and Health.

The candidate will be required to accurately and thoroughly assess nutrition and growth, assist families to set and meet health goals, provide breastfeeding education, support, and internal referrals, refer to outside agencies when necessary, and to document per policy. Must be team oriented and work and communicate well with others. Solid time management skills a must.

The CPA position is 24 hours per week. Non benefited postion.

Spanish language a plus, but not required.
