Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced a part-time IT Support Specialist to join our law firm's IT team. The IT Support Specialist will provide technical support to attorneys, staff, and clients of the law firm, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our technology systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to attorneys, staff, and clients of the law firm, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
  • Install and configure hardware and software, including laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, and mobile devices
  • Monitor and respond to IT help desk tickets, ensuring that all issues are resolved in a timely and effective manner
  • Work with third-party vendors to resolve IT issues and implement new technologies
  • Train staff on the use of technology systems and software
  • Manage IT asset inventory and track equipment leases, warranties, and licenses
  • Implement and enforce IT security policies and procedures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data
  • Perform regular data backups and disaster recovery testing to ensure the continuity of our business operations

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other commonly used legal software applications
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and effective manner
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Part-time, Internship

Pay: From $24.00 per hour
