13 weeks…
No weekends…
Will not float outside of pathology lab…
No holidays…
3+ years relevant experience required…
Certifications Required: Must be a Graduate of an Accredited Pathologists’ Assistant Program, ASCP Certification...
Types of procedures: Frozen Sections and HIGH COMPLEXITY SPECIMENS: Mastectomy, APR’s, Limb Amputation, Nephrectomy, Laryngectomy, Radical Prostatectomy, Cystoprostatectomy, Thyroidectomy, Colectomy, Hysterectomy, Gastrectomy, etc…
Experience handling: Cassette Labeler, Dragon Voice Recognition, Loading Tissue Processor, Windows 10, Cryostat…
30-50 specimens per day…
Cerner charting…
First time travelers are accepted…
Dress code: any color scrubs / smart casual...
