Position: Patient Rep/Line Cook – Full Time
Location: Optim Medical Center Screven, GA
Metz is growing and has an opening for a Line Cook within our Dietary Services Department at Optim Medical Center located in Reidsville, GA who shares our passion for Food and Service. Every day our staff is dedicated to provide the highest quality meals for the patients, visitors, and staff while maintaining a clean and sanitary environment and leaving a positive and lasting impression. Responsibilities:
- Review all menus for the week to ensure all food items are pulled thawed for preparation.
- Ensure that all foods presented are served at proper temperature for the best quality of food.
- Preparing meals, snacks and beverages following specific procedures.
- Serving meals, ensuring food safety and hygiene procedures are followed at all times.
- Taking inventory of kitchen supplies and food items posting them if needed ordering on bulletin board.
- Assure to check food Temperature before serving and assist with documentation on patients. (Serving Logs)
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs. of weight and be able to place it for storage and service needs.
- Clean as you go (CAYG) Area should be clean at all times of service.
- Complies with all the Hospital/Department policies and procedures.
- Maintains all floors are clean and free from debris and spillage.
- Notifies Supervisor of any work requisitions needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
- Anticipates and acts to maintain a safe work environment. Incorporates safety/risk management standards into daily work practices.
- Strong work ethic and team player.
- Assures that work/cleaning schedules are followed.
- Availability to work all shifts including mornings, afternoons, and evenings, including weekends and holidays as scheduled.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22,880.00 - $27,040.00 per year
