JOB SUMMARY:

The PCM is responsible for the ensuring that good manufacturing practice is being performed to ensure that a safe and high-quality product is being produced.

Hours: 10:00pm - 7:15am

Pay Rate: $ 20.23

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Other duties may be assigned.

  • Take a proactive role in assuring safe, quality products are being produced; reporting any deficiencies that are found.
  • Interpret and enforce good manufacturing practice (GMP), regulations, and procedures to ensure food safety standards are met.
  • Maintain records that would confirm that good manufacturing practices are being implemented.
  • Other duties may be assigned at the request of the 2nd Processing Superintendent.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
:


High Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or one to three months of experience and/or training; or the combination equivalent of both education and experience.


LANGUAGE SKILLS
:

Ability to speak English, read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.


MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.


COMPUTER SKILLS
:

Understanding personal computer applications and tools.


FOOD SAFETY:

Take a proactive role in assuring safe, quality products are produced by immediately addressing any safety or quality concerns and this position serves as the back-up for QA Supervisor position.


CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

Must have a valid driver’s License.
