Overview
We are looking for an organised, enthusiastic and proactive individual to join our team as People Services Manager. The role will work closely with the Performance and business systems Manger to successfully deliver Faculty level HR operations processes, in line with university standards and policies.
The position is based within the Faculty of Engineering and supports over 800 members of staff, in multiple locations across our campus’.
The Role
This newly created role will be responsible for:
- Management and development our faculty HR operations team, overseeing the provision of an exemplary service
- Management and resourcing of key faculty processes in line with University HR policies
- Supporting managers and staff to access the HR policies, processes and services relevant to their needs
- Support managers and staff with faculty HR operations processes, escalating to University HR teams as appropriate
- Building effective working relationships across the faculty and university to support success
- Reviewing and adjusting processes, procedures and ways of working to improve efficiency and service levels.
Your Experience
We welcome applications from individuals who have excellent interpersonal skills and a positive and proactive approach. A working knowledge and relevant experience of HR policies and processes would also be beneficial.

Hours
This post is offered on a full-time (36.25 hours per week), permanent contract. Job share arrangements may be considered.
