Personal Care Assistant for a lady P/T @ £10.82/hr in Newcastle upon tyne - FTE - £22.5k

Young woman in Otterburn area requires a support worker to provide 3.5hrs weekly as 30min daily calls. Time of call is flexible but are required in the morning.
Experience preferred, but not essential.
Hours of work: 3.5 hrs per week
Rates of Pay: £10.82 per hour
Location: Otterburn area
Main Duties:
- Worker to prompt and encourage client to get up, washed and dressed to start the day. Support needed to build confidence around showering/bathing
- Ensure client has food and drink available and prompt to eat.
- Prompt and ensure medication is nearby.
- Support with changing bedding on weekly basis. General support around emptying bins, washing dishes etc.
Personal specification:
- Honest, reliable and caring nature.
- Punctual and trustworthy
- Respect confidentiality
Further Information: An Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Certificate (DBS) will have to be obtained for the successful candidate (at employer’s expense).
Training: Where it is required, such as in Health and Safety matters, practical training and guidance will be arranged and the care worker will be expected to attend.
