Job description
Responsible for managing day-to-day operations and workflow processes including, but not limited to, data entry, dispensing department, medical records, purchasing department, and crediting/returns department.
Duties
1. Manage technicians, prepare schedules, and review staffing levels.
2. Effectively communicate, lead, and support employees day-to-day.
3. Ensure workflow processes for departments are running efficiently.
4. Identify operational areas of opportunity that prevent goal achievement.
5. Establish and manage departmental policies, procedures, goals, and objectives.
6. Oversee and manage training processes in addition to the evaluation of current staff.
7. Review performance data to measure productivity and inefficiencies for departments.
8. Maintain and troubleshoot (and/or identify) software, hardware, and system utilities issues.
9. Maintain accurate and detailed reports and records.
10. In-service facilities on internal pharmacy procedures and communications.
11. Support facilities, departmental goals, and the overall objectives of the Company.
12. Comply with all laws, regulations, and standards of ethical conduct.
13. Perform all job duties with a friendly, positive, and team-oriented approach.
14. Comply with all Company policies, procedures, rules, and standards.
15. Assists with special projects as needed.
16. Occasional travel including overnight stay as necessary.
17. Assist with recruitment and retention of employees
18. Meets Expectations of Excellence for position.
19. Supports location, departmental goals, and the overall objectives of the Company.
20. Complies with all laws, regulations and standards of ethical conduct.

Qualifications
- North Carolina Pharmacy Technician registration required.
- PTCB certification preferred.
Experience
- Five years’ experience in operations or business. Healthcare, senior living industry, pharmacy, or longterm care environment preferred.
- Exemplary computer skills that include knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of products.
