Job description

We are hiring a licensed Part-Time and/or per diem physical therapist assistant who excels at assessing patient's strengths and weaknesses and is also a team player. We operate in a high-energy, positive thinking, patient-first environment and we offer our patients gentle encouragement to achieve their goals.

Expectations:

1) Will assist our physical therapists in performing tests, progress notes, and complex treatment procedures.

2) Will instruct patient, family and caregivers in the patient's therapeutic program, including home exercises and discharge planning.

3) Communicates well with other clinicians and office staff.

4) Performs therapeutic procedures by administering manual exercises and instructing, encouraging, and assisting patients in performing physical activities, such as non-manual exercises, ambulatory functional activities, and daily-living activities.

5) Assists patients in using supportive devices, such as crutches, canes, walkers and prostheses.

Experience Preferred/Desired

• Over one year Physical Therapy Assistant

Education Minimum Required

• Graduate two year program for Physical Therapy Assistant

Education Preferred/Desired

• Associates Degree

Licensure and/or Certifications Required

• PT Assistant

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $47,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
