Location: Regional role covering London and Southeast

Hours: 40 hours per week

Salary: £41,400 plus a Car Allowance of £3,000

Contract: Permanent


We are growing Care Home provider who delivers high quality, kind and compassionate Nursing care. What you will be doing:

  • Taking referrals from the Clinical Lead or the resident’s GP
  • Managing a varied caseload of residents with different needs
  • Monitoring progress after interventions
  • Liaise with families and staff to make sure plans are achievable
  • Liaise with the General Manager to order specialist equipment for mobility/postural control
  • Educate and support the care teams on how to correctly use any equipment
  • To assist the Learning and Development team in the Oakland Care lifting and handling programme
  • To keep up to date with current and new lifting and handling techniques to facilitate safe practice
  • Work with the Lifestyles team to create activity programmes
  • To attend and contribute to multidisciplinary review meetings where appropriate supporting a person-centred approach
  • To comply with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and Health and Care Protection Council (HCPC) Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct
  • To demonstrate a sound understanding of Clinical Governance and risk management and evidence its application to the work situation


What you need to succeed:

  • Substantial and demonstrable experience in delivering care
  • Physiotherapy qualification recognised with the Health and Care Professionals Council and an active HCPC registration or evidence that an application is in progress
  • Experience of completing team member induction and supervision
  • Experience in educating/training team members on site for ad hoc training requirements
