Job description
Area of Accountability:
Responsible for both daily tasks and requests from material planners to assist in the maintenance of all material inventory in the plant.
Major Responsibilities:
- Work daily with the Master Scheduler to record and maintain schedules.
- Assist in running labels, stencils, ID tags and Literature Packs associated with the work order to support floor production areas.
- Assist with work order life cycles in other production areas as needed, to include hangers, sub kits, hub-to-rotor, and painted small parts.
- Assist the MRO Buyer in managing plant label stock requirements and various supplies to support area.
- Support and Assist Location Audits and Cycle Counts.
- Assist Material Planners with MRB management.
- SCRAP Team participation
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or G.E.D. required.
- Associate degree in related field a plus
- 1-year experience in manufacturing preferred
- Strong computer experience is a must. (Excel, Word etc.)
- Experience with KBM a plus
- Ability to interpret production schedules and build specifications.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to take direction.
- Self-motivated.
