Description:

Zimmer Biomet in Warsaw, IN is searching for 50+ CNC Machinists for their West Campus (Building 5). There are multiple shifts available for these positions (see below):

Pay: $25/hr

Weekday shifts:

(5) 2nd shift: 2:00pm to 10:00pm

(2) 3rd shift: 10:00pm to 6:00am

*** Please inform the candidates that OT is MANDATORY (working 10-15 hours of OT a week). ***

Breaks: 10 minute break after 2 hours, 20 minute paid lunch after 4 hours, 10 minute break after 6 hours (cannot leave the facility AT ALL during shift)

Job Duties:

• Inspection of parts using various quality instruments

- CMM (will train), Calipers, Optical Comparators, Go/No-Go Gauges, etc.

- 100% checks for most orders (every part)

• Reading of blueprints
• Changing tooling and fixtures
• Making minor offsets
• Documentation of all quality checks, production sheets, etc. (this is a critical component in this role!)
• Using CNC polishers to finish the product (Elma CNC machines)
• Packaging parts to customer order and sending to cleanroom

MUST HAVES:

• CNC machining experience

2+ years of CNC experience OR 1 year of CNC experience + vocational school (NIMS Certification)

• Ability to use micrometers, calipers and gauges
• Expert at documentation (production sheets, quality checks, etc.)
