Westwood Country Club is currently looking for a rising star in the Food and Beverage industry. This is a great opportunity to take your experience in the industry to the next level.
The Pool Snack Bar are responsible for handling the day-to-day operations of the snack bar, pool bar and any other task given to them by the department manager. Westwood is a private club located one mile from Tysons Corner in Vienna, VA. Its membership is comprised of some of the most successful people in our area, and the level of service expected is of a very high standard.
The proper applicants will be professional, mature, patient, and treat this job not as summer work, but as an opportunity to apply knowledge, and learn valuable workplace skills from the Club’s Chef and the Club’s Food and Beverage Director. Responsibilities will include all elements of a full service food and beverage operation including food preparation, data input, table service and clean up, all with customer service in mind.
Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Taking care of members concerns regarding pool snack bar and report these to the Departmental Manager
- Straighten out chairs and deck furniture and sweep the deck clean the pool F&B areas as needed, keep deck area and snack bar clean and neat.
- Help other snack bar employees
- Operate P.O.S. system, and prepare daily specials
- Maintain inventory and order guides and prepare reports as needed, order as needed food and beverage items, receive and store all items properly
- Provide outstanding service to our members and guest attending the pool.
- Ensure the pool bar and snack bar are always neat and presentable to our members and guests.
