Coat areas in accessible to hand sprayer and using a brush. Will be spraying surfaces of machines, equipment and working areas with protective or decorative materials such as paint, enamels and glaze.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:-

Prepare and clean scale sand, paint, grease, tar, rust and dirt from metal. Mask areas not to be blasted. Prepare surfaces by cleaning with thinner.

Qualifications: -

Must be familiar with paints, varnishes, stains and enamels.

Working Environment & Physical Demands

• Occasional lifting of items weighting a maximum of 50 pounds.
• Ability to climb stairwells up to 15 levels high.
• Ability to ascend and descend ladders (step, extension, cage) up to 24’ high.
• Able to walk at a normal pace for up to 15 continuous minutes.
• Able to work from a standing position for 8-12 hours.
• Ability to twist and bend on a recurring basis.
• Weather conditions that can be expected are wet, humid, heat and cold, bright/dim light, traffic, heights, dusts, and pollen.
• The job requires normal visual acuity, field vision, hearing, speaking, color perception, sense of smell, depth perception, and texture perception.
• Some environments are in a high noise and vibrating area.
