Job description
Clean metal parts of any foreign particles; shape and/or remove burrs and defects using grinders and saws to improve surface of metal parts. All task must be completed in strict accordance with the Investment Casting Standards and Engineering Specifications to meet customer criteria in a timely and cost effective manner.Must be able to read the flow sheet, follow instructions written and oral production instructions. Candidate must make sure all trees are together and match the required number shown on the flow sheet.
Receive parts from other departments Department in strict accordance with the Departmental Operation Instructions, Router (Flow Sheet) and Customer Specifications, using the belt grinder or saw remove the gates from parts.
Properly record in the electronic production tracking system
Load parts and transfer to the next operation on the Router (Flow Sheet).
The employee must inspect and keep saw and grinder components clean of material build up.

High school diploma or equivalent.
Excellent computer skills
20/20 vision, or corrected, required.
1-3 years experience in Manufacturing environment using grinds, saws, and working with metal alloys
Basic Shop math skills
