Job description

Seeking an energetic, passionate and loving VPK teacher for the summer and 2023-2024 school year! Come work on a phenomenal team teaching students academic skills, and life skills. Must have DCF 45 complete, staff credential or CDA, and all VPK teacher requirements up to date. Degree in early childhood education and 3+ years experience preferred. Duties include:

• Implement both the academic and the Bible curriculum
• Prepare effective daily lessons for your classroom
• Be well-prepared, on time, and ready for students each morning.
• Adapt lesson plans to meet the needs of all learners in the class.
• Talk about Jesus with the students daily.
• Lead staff devotions occasionally and pray with students every day.
• Maintain staff file with all documents up to date at all times.
• Assess student learning throughout the year
• Have effective, appropriate and regular communication with other staff members, parents, and all students.
• Actively supervise all students each day
• Maintain a positive attitude at all times.
• Maintain professionalism at all times

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
