Our Opportunity:

Our client is a top manufacturing company and we're searching for experienced Operators to join our team!


What you'll do as a Press Brake Operator:

Fabricate products to customer specifications programming and operating CNC brake press, shear, drill press, notcher, metal rolling machine, PEM setter, and a wide variety of manufacturing equipment and hand tools.


Responsibilities

  • Program, setup and operate CNC brake press.
  • Manufacture products to customer specifications and blue prints.
  • Operate overhead cranes and forklift.
  • Use measuring equipment such as calipers, tape measure, steel rule, squares, protractors, etc.
  • Organize work area for optimum process flow.
  • Responsible for completing respective paperwork and computer entries as applicable.
  • Clean up all tooling, machinery, and work areas when finished with each job.
  • Notifies the supervisor of any equipment or tooling that is damaged or not working properly.
  • Raise the level of production with a keen eye on meeting deadlines and QC requirement.
  • Maintain safe work environment by following all required OSHA and manufacturer procedures.
  • Investigate manufacturing problems as necessary, and follows through with solutions as directed.

  • High School diploma or GED


Requirements

  • Able to operate shear, drill press, notcher, metal rolling machine, PEM setter, and a wide variety of manufacturing equipment and hand tools.
  • Able to regularly make decisions regarding matters of significance related to the production process with little or no direct supervision.
  • Ability to handle multiple and frequently changing priorities.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem solving abilities, as well as good math skills.
  • Lean Manufacturing implementation experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal and leadership influencing skills.
  • Ability to conduct inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance.
  • Positive attitude, self-driven, detailed oriented who is hungry to learn and further develop his skills.
  • Ability to identify problems, present solutions, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of accuracy.


Physical Demands

  • This position requires accessing all areas in the plant necessary to develop the activity. Regularly required to stand or sit, and move around the facility. Ability to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds.
